BindoGPS V1.1 has been approved by Apple, and should be live in the App Store very soon. Here are some notes about the update:
- Min.Accuracy
In the default setting BindoGPS V1.0 used any location the iPhone reported, though this can be very inaccurate. V1.1 now has a different default setting, it requires that the accuracy the iPhone reports must be 400m or better. This shouldn't be a problem, when you have a GPS reception. But if you are indoor and the iPhone can only use Cell/WiFi triangulation it might not find your location. You can change the default setting in the Settings.app of the iPhone.
- Push Notifications
In order to use Push Notifications you and your friend must have installed BindoGPS V1.1 , must have started it at least once and must confirm the that BindoGPS can send Push notifications. Push notifications are send when
- you tap on the name of your friend on the "Friends" tab.
- you send a message
- you send a friend request
