We just made the first version of our trip editor available. Just click on "Show my trips" and you are there.

You can also try this if you haven't used BindoGPS yet, we'll show you a demo trip, but you can't edit it.

First of all it shows all the recorded locations of a trip incl. Date, Time and Speed. When you hover with the mouse over one location it will be shown in the map.

The iPhone and therefore also BindoGPS unfortunately get the location sometimes wrong, they usually appear as big jumps on a trip. Now you can delete these wrong points to easily create a nice trip, that you can download as a KML file and share with your friends if you like.

Just click on"Delete Point" and it will be marked for deletion. You can still undelete it, but once you click on "Save changes and refresh the map" these point will be gone forever.

BindoGPS has been downloaded quite a few times and entered the Top100 for Navigation Apps in many countries. We will keep on improving BindoGPS and this website. BindoGPS V1.1 is currently with Apple for review. We hope it will be available soon as it has some great new features.

So what are we working on:

We will mainly improve the BindoGPS website, here are the features that will be coming:

• KML export, ie. view your trips in Google Earth.
• Location filter for Google Maps/Earth.
  You might have noticed that your location sometimes jumps around, often the iPhone lost the GPS signal and uses Cell/WiFi Triangulation which can be very inaccurate (the worst I saw was 8 34km off).
  Soon you can go to this website and adjust some filters so that you can get a nice and clean view of your trip
  In a later version of BindoGPS you might also be able to replace the trip on the iPhone by this "cleaned" version.
• Live (or almost live) view of your current location in Google Earth and Google Maps.
• GPX export
• KML, GPX import

Otherwise we will fix some bugs in BindoGPS that we notice.

We will submit V1.1 of BindoGPS to Apple for review soon, hopefully tomorrow:

New features:

• Push Notifications
  • Tap on your friends name and he will get a notification to start BindoGPS, so that so can get the her/his latest position.
  • if you received a message or friend request you will also be notified by a push notification
• New Trip Management
  When you start BindoGPS it will compare your current location with the last location where you used BindoGPS. If the distance is more than 100 m. BindoGPS will ask you if you want to start a new trip thus avoiding trips with big jumps.
• Accuracy Filter
  In BindoGPS V1.0 you can already enable a filter GPS only (check the Settings.app), ie. ignore positions that are found by Cell Tower/WiFi triangulation. This already works quite well, but not perfect. So we added another filter, where you can set the required Min Accuracy between 100m and 1600m.
• Adressbook support for friend requests.
• Enhanced User Management: Change or Reset password
